In development for over 10 years, the Gekko is a folding bike designed specifically for short bicycle journeys (like cycling in combination with mass transit or getting around the college campus, airstrip or yacht harbor). To maximize carry capacity, a functional carry rack is built right into the bike frame, making the bike handy for running errands. The low maintenance single speed drive train and 52 tooth chain wheel provides a riding speed of a standard size, single speed bike with similar effort.

Spin out and remove a security pin and the bicycle folds into a tight package that can be rolled with ease into a building, elevator or subway car, gaining the Gekko entry in situations in which concierges, supers or building managers would otherwise not allow a bike.
