Swapace ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Swapace platform available at swapace.com. We provide AI-powered aircraft logbook analysis, maintenance tracking, and fleet management services for aircraft owners, operators, and maintenance personnel.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you sign up via email/password or Google OAuth.
• Aircraft logbook files: PDF files you upload for processing. These are stored securely and used solely to provide the analysis services you request.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform to help us improve the service.
• Payment information: Billing details are processed by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer ID — we never store your full card number or CVV.
• Technical data: IP addresses, browser type, and device information collected automatically when you use the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Swapace service, including processing your logbooks with AI.
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, receipts).
• To improve our AI models and the accuracy of logbook analysis.
• To respond to support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your logbook data to train shared AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Google Cloud / Document AI — PDF text extraction and OCR.
• OpenAI — AI-powered analysis and natural language Q&A.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Google OAuth — optional single sign-on.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. Your use of Swapace constitutes your agreement to their respective data practices.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and uploaded logbooks for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and logbook files within 30 days, except where we are required to retain data for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Export your data in a portable format.

7. Cookies

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, encrypted storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

9. Children's Privacy

Swapace is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Swapace after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
